Our April 15th Show featured...
The Sonya Rae Taylor Band
Sonya Rae Taylor

​Sonya is part of the new breed of blues and soul musicians, always searching for new ways to revitalize the form. A triple threat, Sonya is a fiery guitar slinger, soulful blues belter and a songwriter of depth and craft beyond her years. She is joined by her husband Ryan Taylor to form a powerful guitar duo. The couple has logged many miles in their young careers, from Boston to Austin then Nashville, where Sonya was signed by BMG Chrysalis. The two have worked with or shared stage with artists ranging from Austin queen of soul, Tameca Jones, Gary Clark Jr, John Popper of Blues Traveler, John Medeski and Derrico Watson of the Victor Wooten Band and have made TV appearances on shows such as the the ABC series "Nashville". They are two of the finest young guitar players in the scene today and continue to provide audiences with high energy and soulful performances up and down the east coast and beyond.

James Hayman was born in Brooklyn. He graduated from Brown and joined a major New York ad agency, eventually becoming creative director on accounts like the US Army, Procter & Gamble, and Lincoln/Mercury. In 2001, he moved to Portland, Maine, with his wife to become a full-time writer.

James has written some very popular novels based on the suspense, crime and fiction genres. He is particularly famous for writing down the McCabe & Savage Thrillers, featuring the prominent characters, McCabe and Maggie Savage.

Jim Colliton has grown up in the suburbs and now lives with his wife and three children in the suburbs. Jim is a confused middle-age man who can spin soccer games, school drop offs and lunches into his comedy material based around his life as a dad and husband. Jim's every man life stories will bring down the house every time.

Jim has been seen on national television shows like Ed McMahon's Next Big Star, Comcast Comedy Spot Light and Comedy Central Laugh Riots.  Jim can also be heard on XM Satellite Radio's Comedy Channel

Peg Loughran with special guests
Peg Loughran
Peg Loughran, local Tamworth baker and songwriter, has come out of folk music retirement with a new collection of songs. Influenced by traditional American fiddle tunes, swing music and even some blues, she sings of the civil war era, colonial times, the Basque country, as well as writing off- beat love songs, to people, places and even birds.

Peg started playing the guitar and performing in Tamworth, NH in the 80’s playing at the Tamworth Inn on Sunday nights. She has released two albums, the first, Crossing Over, recorded in Seattle, WA and the second, La Belle Dame sans Merci, recorded in Londonderry, NH
