FEATURING - The Small Glories

Folk powerhouse pair The Small Glories are Cara Luft & JD Edwards, a dynamic duo planted on the Canadian Prairies. A self-professed “study in contrasts,” Luft's folkie yin proves a perfect match for Edwards’ rocker yang. Thrown together purely by accident for an anniversary show at Winnipeg’s venerable West End Cultural Centre, The Small Glories is a partnership that could almost make you believe in fate. More...

Boston Based Comedian
Paul D'Angelo
Paul D'Angelo

Combining an energetic, charismatic stage presence and spontaneous improvisational talent with an endless array of intelligent humor delivered in an animated style that grabs and holds the attention of crowds everywhere he performs, Paul’s constantly evolving and diverse selection of original material “takes normal everyday experiences and makes them sound absolutely hilarious.” Critics further write that “(Paul D’Angelo) is an energetic performer who gives a peak performance at every show.” “His quick comedic mind,” “unique observations” and “down to earth, stop-and-think humor” “keeps the crowd in hysterics.”

"Modified": GMOs and the Threat to Our Food, Our Land, Our Future

A disquieting and meditative look at the issue that started the biggest food fight of our time–GMOs. From a journalist and mother who learned that genetically modified corn was the culprit behind what was making her and her child sick, a must-read book for anyone trying to parse the incendiary discussion about genetically modified foods.

Story Teller
Jo Radner
Jo Radner
"I am a storyteller for all moods. I delight in eccentrics, believe that humor and gravity are good bedfellows, and favor characters who shape admirable lives around unavoidable misfortunes.  I have performed and taught from Maine to Hawaii to Finland.  Although I tend to make stories about the people and history of northern New England, I also perform traditional folktales and my own modern tales and riffs on well-known classics."
Local Spotlight
White Mountain Ceili Band
White Mountain Ceili Band
White Mountain Ceili Band includes Dexter Harding on the tenor banjo, Fiona Howell on the flute, Siena Kaplan-Thompson on the fiddle, and Mike Levine on the guitar and occasional concertina.
They play mostly Irish tunes, and sometimes pull from Scottish, Cape Breton and old time traditions as well.  The members have played together casually in smaller configurations for a few years, and coalesced into a band in the fall of 2015.
