The Defibulators
The Defibulators

Described as everything from “Hee-Haw on mescaline” to “Carter Family-meets-Ramones”, The Defibulators unique brand of country has made them pioneers in the Brooklyn country music scene.

The band’s infectious energy and originality earned them a nod as one of Brooklyn’s best emerging bands in VICE Magazine, and a devoted following in a city not known for its love of country. “It’s fun to play for people who don’t think they like country music,” says singer Erin Bru. Guitarist/singer/songwriter Bug Jennings agrees, adding, “There’s something about the fast-paced, frantic, neurotic energy of New York that fuels our sound.
Story Teller
Andy Davis

Andy Davis

Andy Davis tells stories with warmth, humor and verve. He draws his material from life in New Hampshire, and from the folklore of the wider world. He can tell a shaggy dog with the best of them, and follow it up with a personal tale laden with meaning.

Ryan St. Onge of Shark Martin

Musical sounds to warm your soul, provoke thought, tolerance, awareness, love, friendship, relaxation, movement.

Robin Schoen

Robin Schoen

About 10 years ago, when Robin Schoen moved into the brick house near the edge of the Vale End Cemetery, she heard about the Blue Lady, the ghost of Mary Ritter Spaulding who is said to haunt the grounds. She did not think a great deal about it and never saw her. Her granddaughter, Alex, then 8 years old, however, was disturbed by the stories and refused to spend overnights, so Schoen wrote a story for her.
